Marco Quarta
Co-Founder, Rubedo Life Sciences
Marco Quarta, PhD, is a scientist, biotechnology entrepreneur, and executive advancing therapeutics for aging and age-related diseases. He is the founding CEO and current Chief Scientific Officer of Rubedo Life Sciences, a clinical stage longevity biotech company, where he leads the development of novel therapies targeting senescent and other pathological aging cells.
Previously, Dr. Quarta led translational research in regenerative medicine at Stanford University and the VA Palo Alto, bridging discoveries in stem cell biology, tissue repair, and aging with clinical applications. He has authored more than 80 scientific publications and patents and co-founded several biotechnology companies, including Turn Biotechnologies and Wetware Concepts.
Dr. Quarta is also President and co-founder of the Phaedon Institute, a nonprofit organization advancing longevity medicine, and serves in advisory roles supporting regenerative medicine, biotechnology, and healthcare innovation.
