Scholar, University of Cambridge
Dr. Jacqueline C.K. Lam is Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of ElohaX Ltd., an AI-driven drug discovery company developing causal AI technologies to accelerate the discovery of safer and more effective therapies for neurodegenerative diseases. She leads the company's operations, strategic partnerships, fundraising, and commercialisation, working closely with global pharmaceutical companies, investors, and academic collaborators to translate cutting-edge AI into clinically meaningful therapeutics.

Jacqueline is Visiting Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at the University of Cambridge, Associate Professor (Honorary) in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Hong Kong, and Co-director of the HKU–Cambridge AI to Advance Well-being and Society Research Platform. Together with Victor O.K. Li, she leads AI-for-Social-Good-driven interdisciplinary research at the intersection of trustworthy and causal AI, drug discovery, Alzheimer's disease, and precision medicine.

Under her leadership, ElohaX has developed DeepDrug, a proprietary causal AI platform thatidentifies explainable drug combinations targeting upstream disease mechanisms rather than symptoms alone. The company's work has received international recognition through four consecutive U.S. National Academy of Medicine Healthy Longevity Catalyst Awards (2021–2024), accompanied by a special letter of recognition highlighting the innovation and translational potential of its AI-driven approach to Alzheimer's disease. ElohaX has also secured HK$10 M (USD1.28 M) in angel investment, enabling continued platform development and validation toward pharmaceutical partnerships and clinical translation.

Jacqueline is committed to building strategic collaborations with pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology partners, healthcare organisations, and venture investors to accelerate the development and commercialisation of next-generation AI-enabled therapeutics that address major unmet medical needs.
